PCTE signs Memorandum of Understanding with Central Bank of India
The PCTE group of Institutes has signed Memorandum of Understanding with Central Bank of India in its office at Ferozepur Road , Baddowal, Ludhiana on 24 August 2009 . Wg. Cdr. H.S.Gill, Chairman, PCTE group of Institutes along with Dr. K.N.S.Kang, Director General, PCTE group of Institutes signed memorandum with Mr. R. Mishra, Dy. General Manager and Mr. G.S.Dhir, Assistant General Manager of Central Bank of India. This arrangement has been titled as “CENT Vidyarthi”. The purpose of this arrangement is to provide educational loans to the students for pursuing higher studies.
On this occasion, Dr. K.N.S.Kang, Director General, PCTE Institutes informed that under the agreement the students of PCTE group can take educational loan worth Rs. 4 Lakh from any branch of Central Bank of India throughout the country without submitting any security. Collateral securities will be taken in the form of satisfactory third party guarantee for the loans above Rs. 4 Lakhs. Security in the form of Mortgage of property will be taken for the loans above Rs. 7.5 Lakhs.
Dr. Kang informed that PCTE has more than 40 foreign national students studying from more 6 different countries of Africa and Afghanistan . PCTE has student base of more than 2300 in all the institution from more than 10 states namely Himachal Pradesh, UP, Uttrakhand, Rajasthan, Haryana, Bihar , Jammu & Kashmir , Assam , MP and Maharashtra . Dr. Kang remarked that this agreement will enable the students across the country to take admission in the courses offered at PCTE group of Institutes.
