PCTE to be awarded with “Business School that encourages leadership as part of curriculum” award by 17th Dewang Mehta B-School excellence award at Mumbai
PCTE (Punjab College of Technical Education) has been conferred with “Business School that encourages leadership as part of curriculum” award by 17th Dewang Mehta B-School Excellence awards in association with Business School Affaire. This award is offered in recognition of leadership, development, innovation and industry interface of Business school. The award ceremony will take place at Hotel Taj Lands End, Mumbai on 5th November 2009, Thursday.
Mr. S. Ramadorai, CEO & MD of Tata Consultancy Services will be the Chief Guest on the occasion. Dr. K.N.S.Kang, Director General, PCTE group of Institutes and Ms. Harpreet K. Kang, Deputy Dean, PCTE group shall receive the award on behalf of the group.
“Last year in 2008, this category of award was given to eight Business Schools of India including IIM, Bangalore, FMS, New Delhi, SP Jain Institute of Mgmt, Mumbai & this year PCTE has got this award”, informed Dr. K.N.S.Kang, Director General, PCTE group.
Dr. Kang also informed that the Business School Affaire started with this contest 16 years back and from last 5 years this event has been dedicated to Late Dewang Mehta, who headed NASSCOM and was pioneer in boosting Indian Software Industry by bringing IT revolution in India.
On this occasion, Wg. Cdr. H.S.Gill, Chairman, Punjab Management Education Trust congratulated all the faculty members, students and alumni of PCTE group.
