PCTE FELICITATES SIX FACULTY MEMBERS FOR WRITING BOOKS


The Punjab College of Technical Education (PCTE) has felicitated Six Faculty members from Deptt.of Business Management and Deptt. Of Computer Applications, PCTE for writing books on various subjects of management and computers in the last semester. The faculty members who got appreciation were Mr. Gautam Bansal, Ms. Simran Rajpal Kaur, Mr. William Mufee, Mr. Sandhir Sharma, Mr. P. P. Singh and Ms. Punam Rattan. The faculty members were awarded with appreciation and cash reward by Wg. Cdr. H.S.Gill, Chairman, Punjab Management Education Trust, Ludhiana. While releasing the books on the occasion, Wg. Cdr. H.S.Gill, Chairman, PMET congratulated all the faculty members and wished them best of luck for their future efforts.

On this occasion, Dr. K.N.S.Kang, Director General, PCTE Institutes informed that PCTE faculty has contributed 27 books so far in the field of business management, computer applications, pharmacy etc. Dr. Kang further added that writing books show the level of academic excellence which the faculty members have achieved. PCTE is publishing two bi-annual journals also namely PCTE Journal of Business Management and PCTE Journal of Computer Sciences.

Ms. Punam Rattan was awarded for releasing three books on computers namely Introduction to Micro Processor, Introduction to Computer Systems and Digital Electronics. Mr. P.P.Singh, Mr.Gautam Bansal and Mr. Sandhir Sharma, Sr. Faculty from Deptt. Of Business Management got appreciation for the titles namely Modern Marketing Management, Research Methodology, E-Publishing, Principles of Management, E-learning, Management Information Systems, Consumer Research etc. Mr. William Muffee, permanent faculty from Cameroon at PCTE was awarded with prize for writing book on Risk Management. Ms. Simran Rajpal Kaur, Faculty, Communications was awarded for book on Business Communication.
