PCTE gets DNA Awards for Innovation Leadership & B-School Leadership


Punjab College of Technical Education (PCTE) has been given two awards i.e, Innovation leadership Award and B-School Leadership Award. These awards will be presented by DNA and Stars of industry Group. This DNA (Daily News & Analysis), which is a joint venture between Dainik Bhaskar group and ZEE group.The recipients of the awards have been intimated and the formal ceremony to bestow the awards will take place on 12th February 2010 at Taj Lands Mumbai.

Dr. KNS Kang, the Director General of PCTE Group of Institutes shared this information with all the faculty members of PCTE & congratulated them for their efforts to excel at National & International front. These awards will be conferred at the World HRD Conference, which will be inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister of Bhutan, Mr. Jigmi Y. Thinley on 12th Feb 2010.

The Innovation B-School awards recognize innovation as a key competence, which helps Business school to gain a competitive edge over other B-Schools. Innovation is a crucial element in every B-School. Leadership Development among students as well as faculty of a B-School differentiates it from other B-Schools, added Dr. Kang.

Punjab College of Technical Education was also awarded 17th Dewang Mehta B-School excellence award in November 2009. This award was given for promoting leadership in B-School of India. PCTE was among top Eight B-Schools of India like FMS, XIMB, IIM-L & others, to receive such a prestigious awards. It is also ranked 12th in India on the basis of Learning experience by Business World Magazine, and is the 9th most economical B- School by Outlook Magazine.
