FREE MEDICAL CAMP ORGANIZED AT PCTE INSTITUTE OF PHARMACY


PCTE Institute of Pharmacy Organized its first Free Medical camp in Campus-II. About 500 people from the near by areas and villages visited the camp and got the advice of the expert doctors .In the camp patients were diagnosed, given advice related to various common medical ailments. Free Medicines were also distributed to the patients in the camp. The camp was organized by the students and faculty of the pharmacy Institute in association with Rising Young Association (NGO) of Ludhiana city.

Eminent Doctors from top most medical hospitals of the city were present on the occasion. The doctors were specialized in the field of Orthopedics, Endocrinology, Gynecology, Dietician, and General medicine. Psychological experts were also present on the occasion to tackle and advice the people regarding the daily psychological problems. In the camp free Clinical tests and ECG checks were also done of the patients.

Dr K.N.S.Kang, Director General PCTE Group of Institutes congratulated the faculty staff and students of PCTE Institute of Pharmacy for successfully organizing a medical Camp. He said that these efforts will not only help the people in curing the diseases, but also help in spreading the message of health and hygiene among the people in the society. He said that institute will make this activity a regular feature in every six months to promote awareness among the masses.
