NATIONAL LEVEL CONFERENCE ON LATEST TRENDS IN IT AT PCTE


Punjab College of Technical Education is going to organize National Level Conference on “Latest Trends in IT”. The Conference will be organized by Computer Science Society of the College. The society is formed by students of BCA /MCA and MSc(IT) and is actively organizing the events related to Information Technology every year in the Institute. This conference is an effort by the students in which approx 30 research papers from the students of Computer Science have been received from all over the country. Papers have been received from Ghaziabad, Rohtak, Kanpur, Jalandhar and many other cities of the country. The conference will be inaugurated by the Chairman, PMET, Wg.Cdr H.S.Gill. Professor R.Kumar, Dean Computer Sciences will deliever the key note address on the occasion. Dr K.N.S.Kang Director General PCTE group of Institutes, Faculty, staff and parents of the students will also be present on the occasion.

Dr K.N.S.Kang, Director General PCTE group Of Instituites congratulated the students for their efforts and said that these types of conferences on the part of students will act as a great source of motivation and learning on the part of the students. He also encouraged that such type of events should be organized in more numbers as there is dearth of IT Conferences in this part of the country.
