PCTE organized 7th International Management Conference and 6th International IT Conference
Punjab College of Technical Education, Ludhiana, organized its 7th International Management Conference on “The Troubled waters of Global Business” and 6th International Conference on “Upcoming Trends in IT”. Mr. Vivek Attray, Senior Advisor, Advisory Services, KPMG was the chief guest. He has been responsible for supervising the setting up of Rajiv Gandhi Chandigarh Technology Park and also has functioned as Director Technical Education. 80 national and international delegates participated in these conferences.
Dr. K.N.S Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of Institutes, said, during the inaugural ceremony, “130 papers were contributed not only from various parts of the country but also from foreign countries like Australia, Tanzania, Cameroon, Srilanka and Pakistan etc. The world is coming out of Global Recession as the bailout plans, financial stimulus are putting the things in order. This is continuous Endeavour of PCTE to provide a platform for suggesting various strategies and measures to tackle issues facing global businesses.”
Mr. Vivek Attray, said, during the inaugural speech, “World wide evidence indicates that people are becoming concerned about the environment and are changing their behavior globally. As a result, there is a growing market for sustainable and socially responsible products and services. But the question is how these growing environmental policies aiming for sustainability will survive in these troubled waters of global business. Amidst this turbulence these types of conferences will help Indian and International market to reckon with the challenges ahead.”
Mr. Visemih William Muffee, Cameroon, presented a research paper on “An Evaluation of the role of the entrepreneur in a period of Crisis in a Business Environment”. His paper focused on the role of the entrepreneur in steering the business through the economic storm into safety. His paper was widely appreciated by the delegates.
