PCTE GROUP OF INSTITUTES SIGNS MOU WITH UNIVERSIDADE PEDAGOGICA, MOZAMBIQUE


PCTE group of Institutes signed an MOU (agreement of cooperation) with Universidade Pedagogica Locate at Rua Commandate Augusto Cardoso, Maputo-Mocanmbique. The MOU was signed between Dr K.N.S.Kang Director General PCTE group of institutes and Dr. Ana Paula Manso the Director of International Affaires Office for upgrading the skills of faculty and students. PCTE already has nine MOU’s signed with England, South Africa, and Pakistan etc.

Dr K.N.S. Kang, Director General, PCTE group of Institutes said that both the Institutions agreed to promote cooperation in providing training in advanced studies and teaching staff, exchange through Joint courses and seminars. The teachers and the students participating in the programme under the term of this agreement will obtain appropriate international health insurance covering medical expenses and repatriation cost during their stay. The MOU also highlighted the assistance in the curriculum Development in new field like IT, Management, Biotechnology, Hotel Management, Airlines and Tourism.

Dr Kang further said that Universidade Pedagogica will be responsible for the financing of its staff members participating in various courses offered by PCTE group of Institutes. Dr Kang informed that four faculty members from the university will join in M.Sc-IT (two year course) at PCTE from the current session.
