AIMA B-School survey 2009 rates PCTE Best Business School of Punjab, HP and J&K 6th year in a row
The All India Management Association (AIMA) has rated PCTE Best Business School of Punjab, HP and J&K in B-School survey 2009 6th year in a row released this month in Oct 2009. PCTE has been ranked in A2 category. The survey has categorized the Business Schools in different sections namely Super League containing 10 B-Schools, A1 category with 9 Business Schools, A2 category with 28 Business Schools in which PCTE is the only institute of Punjab, HP and J&K falling in. The survey was carried out on the basis of five parameters such as Intellectual Capital, Admission and Placements, Infrastructure, Industry Interface and Governance. Each parameter was assigned different weight. The survey was carried out by IMRB (Indian Market Research Bureau) leading research agency of India.
“In one of the parameters of the survey called Intellectual Capital PCTE stands at 8th position in India along with 13 other institutes at national level after scoring 90 percentile. There are only 9 institutes that have scored above 90 percentile in this parameter” informed Dr. K.N.S.Kang, Director General, PCTE Institutes. Dr. Kang further informed that this is 5th year in a row when PCTE has been rated Best B-School of Punjab, HP and J&K in AIMA. Recently Open-C-Fore B-School Survey 2009 has also ranked PCTE 41st among top 50 Private B-Schools of India and Best B-School of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and J&K. Dr. Kang congratulated all the students and faculty members on the occasion.
The survey was open to all Business Schools of India. The questionnaire was sent to all Business Schools and the data was collected, verified and analyzed by the research agency to finalize the ratings.
