About Ludhiana
Situated in the north western region of India, Ludhiana is a central city in the State of Punjab, which is famous for its Hosiery industry and delicious street food delicacies. Its foundation was laid in 1480 by the members who were associated with the Lodhi dynasty, based on which its name was formulated. Ludhiana is a city that is always bustling with an energetic crowd and fun loving people, and you will always receive a warm welcome whenever you visit this beautiful city. The city is well known as the ‘Manchester of India’, all thanks to its rapidly growing manufacturing and industrial sector, which acts as a major source of employment for the people of this city. The major attractions within the city include Punjab Agricultural University which hosts the spectacular Kisan Mela every year, Charan Kamal & Manji Sahib are the famous Gurudwaras which have a significant amount of history attached to them.
