what is BHMCT?
We prepare professionals for dynamic and demanding hospitality, hotels and aviation industries, we not only focus on practical training but also on over all development and grooming of personalities. The course duration is four years based on semester system on theory and practical basis. Our focus is research, development and evolution. PCTE -IHM teams research a new cuisine each year. Some recent researches are: Tribal cuisine Blue cuisine Green cuisine Pink cuisine Zaika-e-Hindustaan Our students regularly take up indoor & outdoor catering and work weekends in hotels and resorts. The building is built like Mock Hotel, where you enter a lobby which leads to the Front Desk and the Concierge’s desk, complete with the waiting space and Manager’s Desk and then it flows into the Banquet Hall catered to by Hotel Management Students.

Eligibility for BHMCT in PCTE?
- BHMCT – 60 Seats Eligibility: All those candidates who have passed the 10+2 or its equivalent examination in any stream conducted by a recognized Board / University / Council.
- Those candidates who have passed their Matriculation examination and have also passed three year Diploma in any Trade from Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh or such Examination from any other recognised State Board of Technical Education, or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology, Longowal

- The course offers practical classes in different labs as PCTE-IHM has a demo hotel room, a fully furnished laundry, a working bakery, a base and advanced kitchen, a restaurant.
- The concept and training which the students get in hotel is being delivered to the students throughout course on practical as well as theory basis.
- The students also make different cuisines everyday which is open for sale as buffet, al-a-cart and ODC basis in the restaurant and run by hotels

I love my college as it is affordable And provide many chances to show case our talent. And provide great facilities to study for the best, and the great infrastructure relax our mind to bring the focus towards goal And its nature friendly Teaches us not to thourow waste rather use it in better way. There are 2 industrial visit for every courses every year. There are many organisations which are collaborated with college for placements. Comfortable classes, halls, labs, park, playground etc. Are there for better learning. Guest lectures also takes place occasionally.
